In this third article, i would tell to you about 'Docang'. Maybe you were not familiar with that word. Ya, Because this food was one of the traditional food from Cirebon and you would not find this food in another city. In the night of my third day of my holiday, Me and my family decided to went to Kesambi. We would ate docang in there. You could reach Kesambi about 30 minutes from my house in Sumber. After we arrived, we requested four portion for me, my father, my mother and also my brother. The history of Docang came from Wali Songo's left food when they ate. The rest was bean sprouts and cassava. And the bean sprouts and cassava reprocessed and became to Docang. And the name of Docang was came from
'kacang dibodo' or
'dibacem'. Docang was filled by lontong, cassava leafs, bean sprouts, and flushed by
'dage' and
'terasi' sauce with crackers (kerupuk). You could add some sambal and requested another crackers for your docang. One portion of this food only Rp. 6.000 that was very cheap for a healthy and delicious food!
